Governance, rural development and education specialist with a doctorate in adult education, masters degrees in public administration and planning. I bring an adult-learning perspective to management, capacity development and evaluation activities. 30 years of experience working on development and public policy projects, including ten years of field work in Southeast Asia. Experience in designing, managing, monitoring and evaluating governance, democratic development and rural development projects. Developed a field-based user-friendly RBM framework, focusing on planning and reporting formats for results-based management, translated and now used effectively in Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia, Lao PDR, Indonesia, Tajikistan and India, by government agencies and civil society organizations. Ability to work effectively in Thai, delivering workshops in the language. Work well with CSO's, academics, field workers and senior policy makers, including political leaders, in Southeast Asia.
