7th Annual International Development Happy Hour a Huge Success

Each professional at the 7th Annual International Development Happy Hour had a different story:

"I just returned from Sudan…"

"I want to start an NGO in Central or South America…"

"I work on knowledge management at the International Finance Corporation…"

"I help NGOs with evaluation…"

"I'm an environmental lawyer…"

Conversations flowed when Devex and Microsoft Unlimited Potential brought together young, emerging, and established leaders in the international development field at the 7th Annual Devex Happy Hour in Washington, DC on July 24. Devex and Microsoft Unlimited Potential were pleased to partner on one of the most popular international development networking events of the year.

"Through strong partnerships with public and private sector groups, we [at Microsoft] seek to develop information and communication technology solutions that help transform education, enable jobs and opportunities, and foster local innovation. The happy hour in DC was a great opportunity for us to learn more about the great work you do and build relationships so that we may work together toward making the world a better place," Microsoft's Robyn Fisher wrote via email.

Be sure to visit the Happy Hour event page to see photos from the event. To those who attended - thank you for participating and continuing Devex's summer happy hour tradition. To those who could not make it - we'll see you online and at our next event!
