A Prerequisite to Social Change

International development activities can make a strong contribution to social change. But funding projects would not be enough to make this happen, says Xavier Mir Bernado. Efforts should help reform government policies and societal practices, the international cooperation expert at Baobab International Development Consultancy suggests.

Sam Mednick graduated with a combined bachelor's degree, with honors, in multidisciplinary studies and journalism from the University of Kings College in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
