UK to Send 1,000 Experts to Conflict and Disaster Zones

 

Some 1,000 British conflict and disaster relief experts are set to be deployed in countries stricken by violence and natural calamities under a Department for International Development program aimed at assisting reconstruction and redevelopment of such areas, the Times Online reports. British Prime Minister Gordon Brown said the team tagged the Civilian Stabilization Group will use expertise in diplomacy, defense and development to initiate more effective reconstruction in conflict zones.
