The Food and Agriculture Organization is providing immediate veterinary care to rural communities in the Peruvian Andes following two weeks of heavy rains. The United Nations agency is offering emergency veterinary kits for the treatment and prevention of bronchial pneumonia among baby alpacas in Arequipa, Puno and Cusco.
