After 89 days in captivity, French Red Cross employee Laurent Maurice has been released, Deutsche Presse-Agentur reports. Maurice, who is reported to be in good health, was kidnapped in November near the Sudanese border in eastern Chad. Another Red Cross staff member Gauthier Lefevre, who was abducted in Darfur in October, is still being held captive.
