Governors of the African Development Bank held June 9-10 their 2011 annual meeting in Lisbon, Portugal, where they released the bank’s annual report for 2010 as well as launched the first review of the effectiveness of AfDB’s operations. Donors continue to offer assistance to Ivory Coast as the country attempts to get back on its feet following the recent political crisis that crippled its government and forced thousands of citizens to flee.
