USAID PROJECTS

 BLD Services, LLC, a US based construction firm specializing in utility and infrastructure construction is seeking qualified applicants interested in Key Personnel positions on site for USAID projects in the West Bank and Gaza.  Sample positions include:

Contract Manager/Coordinator

Task Order Manager

Quality Control/Safety/Environmental Engineer

Project Superintendent

Project Surveyor

Construction Cost Scheduler/Planner

Interested applicants must have BS or higher in Engineering or Construction Management with a minimum of 10 years supervisory experience in basic infrastructure planning, design and/or construction.  Experience must include supervision of multiple infrastructure projects in cultural, security, and work environments similar to those of the West Bank and Gaza.  Experience developing and managing multiple small and large project schedules and budgets is essential.  Applicant must be knowledgeable concerning both FAR and/or FIDIC construction contracting.  The scope of the anticipated work includes the construction, rehabilitation and/or improvement of infrastructure works throughout the West Bank and Gaza.  Applicant must be conversant in the English language.  Ability to speak Arabic is also desired.  Applicant must be experienced in USAID projects including:

Transportation neworks such as primary and secondary roads, bridges/or other transportation infrastructure

Water systems including the supply, storage, treatment,transmission and/or distribution of water

Sanitation infrastructure including solid waste management and disposal, wastewater treatment and reuse, pollution control, and/or ecological sanitation

Vertical infrastructure

Electrial Power

Operations and management of Water Facilities
