Call for Experts Uganda Agriculture

CNFA seeks expressions of interest from qualified candidates for both short- and long-term consultancies from a variety of agricultural disciplines for an upcoming multi-year USAID-funded project in Uganda. CNFA is also actively seeking individuals with COP/DCOP-level experience in the country.  The program will focus on increasing the productivity of traditional agricultural crops, improving market linkages, developing SMEs and expanding agricultural profitability.

CNFA is seeking experts in the following fields:

•         Input Supply

•         Post Harvest Handling

•         Nutrition Experts

•         Agricultural Credit and Finance

•         Policy and Enabling Environment

•         Monitoring and Evaluation

•         Gender and Social Inclusion

•         Grains , Coffee,  and Legumes Crops Production

•         Manager of Finance Administration     

Principal Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction for the program in accordance with project deliverables
• Maintain strong relationships with home office, partners and collaborators, and any other associated stakeholder
• Represent CNFA and the project to the public and donor community

Ideal Candidate

• Master’s degree in related field is required
• Experience working in Uganda is highly preferred
• Experience in rural agriculture and/or microfinance is highly preferred
• Fluency in English is required
