Chiefs of Party - Bangladesh

The QED Group, LLC seeks experienced Chiefs of Party (COP) to manage upcoming USAID-funded economic growth projects in Bangladesh.  The anticipated programs will focus on private sector growth, food security, capacity building, and related areas.

Responsibilities:

• Provide overall technical and managerial oversight of the program.  Ensure integration and implementation of all program components, progress, and quality of performance.
• Serve as key liaison with USAID, GOB officials, and key stakeholders; establish and maintain good relationships with all.
• Ensure efficient management of financial resources, including the review and approval of program budgets and monitoring of expenditures.
• Recruit and manage appropriate program staff and oversee all administrative aspects of management of sub-contractors.

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of demonstrated experience in agricultural development, private sector development or related fields, preferably on USAID funded projects.
• Experience as a long-term Chief of Party or senior level management position in developing countries.
• Experience working in Bangladesh or South Asia preferred.
• Demonstrated success leading teams and projects with multiple components, building successful relationships with high level government officials, USAID and other stakeholders.
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, writing and presentation skills.
• Advanced degree in agricultural development, business administration, economics, or related field.
