Online Marketer

The world’s most popular international aid & development web media brand – Devex – has an opportunity for a web-savvy marketing and communications professional who gets our market.

Do you know how to create online marketing campaigns that convert leads?  Do you have ideas about what kinds of messages would resonate in the global development community?  Do you want to help build the Devex membership around the world?

Devex is seeking a bright and driven professional with some online marketing experience, the ability to write for the web, and strong project management skills.  This is a full-time staff position available in our Washington, DC.  There’s lots of room for growth and compensation is competitive.

Responsibilities

• Project manage marketing projects such as email marketing campaigns and special promotions on social media
• Work with graphic designers, writers, and web developers to make micro-sites, slide shows, videos, and other promotional materials
• Represent Devex at events and develop print materials and other marketing collateral to support in-person marketing

 Minimum Qualifications

• At least one year of online marketing experience
• 2-5 years of relevant work experience, preferably at a public relations, marketing, or communications agency
• Excellent writing and communications skills
• Relevant undergraduate degree
• International travel experience and a global mindset

 Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with international aid & development organizations
• Tech savvy, with experience using HTML, social media tools, and online marketing platforms
• Work experience at public relations, marketing, or communications agency

Job Location 

This is a full-time position available in the Devex Washington, DC offices.
