Country Director, Egypt (Staff)

The ABA’s Rule of Law Initiative seeks a resident Program Director to oversee the implementation of its Egypt Program, which operates out of Cairo. The Program Director duties include but are not limited to overseeing the implementation of ABA Rule-of-Law Programs and administration of host country office operations; providing technical and other appropriate assistance to partners; reporting to donors on program development and engaging in fundraising; and maintaining local partner relationships.

To receive consideration, candidates must have a JD or a Master’s Degree and 10-12 years relevant work experience, including several years of related international development experience and significant experience working on legal education. Experience managing USG funded programs is required. Experience managing foreign staff and Arabic language skills is desirable.
