Objective:
DAI seeks recognized experienced local government professionals to serve as Chief of Party or Technical Advisors on the anticipated projects funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) worldwide. We are seeking senior expatriate applicants with experience in the following areas:
Successful candidates will have demonstrated experience in citizen oversight of public finance or service delivery; prior experience working with legislatures and executive branch to draft policy, legislation and regulation governing decentralization; experience in training and delivering technical assistance for sub-national and local governments who are implementing new laws and powers; experience working with city councils and other local elected officials on drafting and implementing rules of procedure for their bodies, regulatory process at local level, transparency and ethics at local level
