SRI LANKA – DEPUTY CHIEF OF PARTY (DCOP)

Background:

Social Impact (SI) is an Arlington, Virginia based international development management consulting firm. We provide a full range of innovative management consulting, technical assistance, and training services to strengthen international development programs, organizations and policies. We provide services globally in the areas of democracy and governance, health and education, agriculture, the environment, and economic growth. 

Objective:

Social Impact is seeking a Sri Lankan national to fill the full-time Deputy Chief of Party position on a potential 30-month USAID judicial strengthening project in Sri Lanka.

Requirements:

• Must have at least 7 years of demonstrated, successful and progressively responsible experience as a COP/DCOP for justice sector programs;
• Must have an advanced degree in law, public administration, or international development;
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Sinhala or Tamil;
• Must be fluent in English;
• Must have experience interacting with host country local governments, USAID partners, international donors, and knowledge of Government of Sri Lanka policies and procedures;
• Must have experience effectively supervising a diverse team of employees;
• Must be able to demonstrate effective interpersonal skills, creative problem-solving skills, and flexibility needed to perform effectively under challenging circumstances;
• Previous USAID experience preferred.
