Director of Finance & Administration - Zambia

CHF is seeking a Director of Finance & Administration for an anticipated Zambia Economic Resilience Program for Improved Food Security (ZERS) program which will implement innovative strategies and approaches to enable vulnerable and poor rural households as well as the very poor to improve food security through strengthened economic resilience.

The Director of Finance and Administration is accountable for the program management and oversight of all finance, IT, human resources and administrative aspects of the program. The DFA will:

  • Supervise the finance team to ensure timely, quality, and accurate financial reports and practices;
  • Provide financial control, prepare and analyze budgets, develop financial reports, and make recommendations to HQ on budget expenditures;
  • Oversee annual financial audits of CHF/Zambia program;
  • Provide oversight of project administration and HR management support.

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business, or a related field.
  • 10+ years experience in international finance/accounting;
  • 5+ years of supervisory experience.
  • Financial management experience on a USAID-funded project.
  • Knowledge of HR & IT practices.
  • Fluent in English (written and oral).
