The Development Executive Group seeks interns for its Fall Internship Program (full- or part-time).

The internship is an unpaid, short-term position in our Washington, DC office. Program start-date is as soon as possible and it will last through the fall semester. There is a possibility of extending for Spring, and we are also recruiting for a Spring Intern (January through May).

The Internship Program offers university students and young professionals the opportunity to be directly involved in work with various agencies in international development. Devex is a social enterprise bringing efficiency to international development through recruiting and business information services. Interns will find the experience to be rewarding and interesting.

To be eligible for the Internship Program, candidates must have a background in international relations or a related field and should have an understanding of the prominent issues in the international development community. Fluency in English is required. Excellent writing, computing and foreign language skills are advantageous. Interns must maintain a professional demeanor, have the ability to perform under pressure and multitask in a fast-paced setting. Interns have the unique opportunity to take initiative and become involved in the work of a growing international company.

  - Assisting with event planning and execution
  - Collecting and handling responses
  - Making follow-up calls
  - Helping with set-up, guest directions, and other event logistics
