CIFESAL INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING is the international division of the CIFESAL Group and specializes in the design, management and evaluation of economic development and institutional support projects worldwide.
CIFESAL is a framework service provider for the European Commission’s Lot 9 – Culture, Education, Employment and Social.
In this context, we are currently preparing an offer for the project “SUPPORT TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT – MID-TERM EVALUATION” in Egypt.
The project has the following objective: Conduct the Mid-Term Evaluation of the project SUPPORT TO SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT (SSD). The objective of the SSD is to enhance the living standards of citizens in geographic areas with major concentrations of poverty. The programme aims at local area development by which the SFD will concentrate its efforts on a small area to combine the effects of individual projects and have a higher impact.
The foreseen project start is March 2010; the work load is 19 working days.
For this project we are identifying a Team Leader/Local Development and Evaluation specialist with the following qualifications and experience:
Economist with a University Degree;
At least 10 years of experience in the specific field of local development, including gender, environment and sustainable development;
At least 10 years of experience in the evaluation of projects and specially EU projects;
At least 5 years of experience in MEDA countries in the past ten years;
Strong managerial skills;
Full working knowledge of English and excellent report writing; Knowledge of Arabic would be an asset;
Excellent communication skills;
Fully conversant with the principles and working methods of project cycle management and EU aid delivery methods.
