Khulisa Management Services is a South African-based firm that provides a wide range of monitoring, evaluation, research, and information management services with particular emphasis on health (especially HIV/AIDS), education and social development.  Since 1993, we have served over 130 different clients including the South African national government, provincial departments, local and international donors, corporations, non-governmental organizations (NGOs), and other service providers. 

Khulisa is seeking to recruit consultants for an anticipated monitoring and evaluation program in Ethiopia.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Conducting pre-survey preparatory activities, finalizing research instruments, training research staff, carrying out data collection, as well as generating various reports.
• Ensuring quality control and overall responsiveness of technical assistance provided under the Contract.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications:

• A minimum Masters degree in relevant subject areas such as Agriculture and Food Security, Social Development and Governance, Livelihoods or other related areas. 
• Substantial experience conducting quantitative and qualitative research in developing countries, including assessments of programme processes and impacts. This will be augmented with significant experience in process evaluations of complex programmes implemented in developing countries.
• Substantial experience carrying out research in Ethiopia is expected.
