Global Objective

The global objective of this assignment is to prepare necessary background elements for the national Media Strategy which will be drafted by the Ministry of Culture in cooperation with media stakeholders.

Specific objectives

The specific objectives of the assignment are the following:

·         To conduct a study about the media scene in Serbia as a basis for media strategy;

·         Assist the Ministry of Culture in consultation process with stakeholders about the media strategy;

Requested profiles

Еxpert 2 (financial expert)

Key tasks: provide expertise on the financial aspects of media policy measures (market, business environment, media privatization process, state-aid rules, competition rules) and participation at the conference and one consultation media policy meeting

Qualifications and skills

• Education: University degree in media, management, economics, business or equivalent
• Skilled in drafting reports

General professional experience

• 10 years of professional working experience in the media industry and/or consultuncy for media industry

Specific professional experience

• Experience in media management
• Experience in financial and economic analyses
• Specific knowledge of media industry and markets

Language skills

• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
