INDONESIA INFRASTRUCTURE INITIATIVE

Water and Sanitation Baseline Survey

SMEC International is seeking tenders from consulting firms to undertake a baseline survey and socialisation for the Water Supply Initiative (WSI) Water and Sanitation Hibah program. The work will commence in March 2010 and is to be completed within 6 months. This tender is for technical and social surveys to be undertaken in twenty seven towns South Sumatra, Banten, West, Central and East Java, NTB, Bali, South Kalimatan and Central Kalimatan.

The survey will include technical and social components and will include survey of approximately 65,000 households.

Estimated value for the tender is $490,000

The program is funded by the Government of Australia through the Australian Agency for International Development (AusAID). SMEC International is the managing contractor for the Indonesia Infrastructure Initiative (IndII) which is implementing the Infrastructure Planning and Capacity Building activity on behalf of the Australian and Indonesian Governments.
