Quality assurance advisor

Chemonics seeks a quality assurance advisor for the ongoing USAID-funded Higher Education Leadership and Management (HELM) project in Indonesia. HELM aims to improve the academic performance of Indonesian basic and higher education sectors through analytical support for strategic planning and policy analysis and design of approaches for effective implementation of key reforms across the education system. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for making a difference in the lives of people around the world. Responsibilities include:

• Provide technical assistance to promote systematic review of education quality policies and structures
• Assist universities in improving the quality of learning and the relevance of academic programs

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in one or more relevant fields required; doctoral degree preferred
• Professional certifications in relevant fields preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in development and implementation of quality assurance approaches and activities at higher education institutions, especially approaches that significantly engage external stakeholders and focus on improved outcomes in student learning and performance
• Proven experience in implementing activities to enable higher education institutions to develop quality assurance approaches to teaching, research, and service
• Experience in Indonesia preferred
• Professional experience in Indonesia preferred
• Fluency in written and spoken English required; Indonesian language capability a plus
