Grants Officer

Checchi Consulting seeks a Grants Officer for the USAID-funded Security and Justice Sector Reform Project in Guatemala.  The Project will support the implementation of security and justice sector reform efforts promoted by the Government of Guatemala (GOG); provide technical assistance to GOG institutions to improve its capacity to manage security and justice administration; and strengthen civil society oversight of security and justice services.  The Grants Officer will be responsible for the design and implementation of all grant-funded activities; provide technical monitoring and oversight of post-award activities; and handle the fiscal management and administration of the grants program.  Candidates must have at least five years of prior experience in Latin America, be fluent in Spanish, detail-oriented, well organized, and possess strong financial management skills.  Preferred candidates will be U.S. citizens who have prior experience with USAID contract management, regulations and procedures.
