Health and Literacy Evaluation Specialists, Uganda

The Panagora Group, a woman-owned, small business providing novel and integrated solutions in health and development, seeks senior- and mid- level international and developing country health and literacy evaluation specialists for an anticipated five-year USAID/Uganda project to improve the quality of education in Uganda, with an emphasis on addressing early grade reading, health and HIV/AIDS education, and the availability and use of high-quality data for education sector decision-making. This position will be based in Uganda and relate to the following areas:


  • HIV/AIDS
  • Literacy/early grade education
  • Health education

 

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in relevant field
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in one or more of the technical areas listed above in Uganda
  • Prior experience with USAID projects involving multiple subcontractors and host country counterparts
  • Background in evaluating early grade educational programs
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity-building and in working effectively with local NGOs, governments, and the private sector
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in one or more relevant foreign languages preferred
