HIV/AIDS Specialists

The Panagora Group, a woman-owned, small business providing novel and integrated solutions in health and development, seeks senior- and mid - level international and developing country HIV/AIDS specialists for an anticipated USAID-funded project. The project aims to provide technical assistance in the area of HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment. Assignments may be short- or long- term; located in the U.S. or in Africa, Asia, Europe and Eurasia, Latin America/Caribbean, or the Middle East; and related to the following areas:

 

  • HIV/AIDS prevention, care, and treatment
  • HIV program implementation
  • Health systems strengthening
  • Knowledge management
  • Monitoring and evaluation
  • Private sector approaches to health care (social marketing/franchising)
  • Organizational development/capacity building
  • Orphans and Vulnerable Children

 

Qualifications:

  • Advanced degree in global health or other relevant field
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in one or more of the technical areas listed above in a relevant developing country setting
  • Prior experience with USAID projects involving multiple subcontractors and host country counterparts
  • Demonstrated experience in capacity-building and in working effectively with local NGOs, governments, and the private sector
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in English required; proficiency in one or more foreign languages preferred
