International Development Intern

We provide technical assistance services to international donors and governments in the developing world in the areas of economic growth, governance, trade, monitoring and evaluation, gender mainstreaming and spatial analysis. IBI is looking for an intern to provide administrative support on USAID and other donor-funded projects, as well as proposal writing assistance. The person would assist in the compilation, writing, editing and/or organization of project proposals and assist as-needed on various office tasks. The position will be paid and is available immediately.

The profile of the ideal candidate is:
• Master’s degree in international development or related field, or current graduate student
• Available at least 20 hours per week for a minimum of 3 months
• Interest in international development
• Strong writing and organizational skills
• Attention to detail
• Highly motivated
• French language and/or experience in Africa a plus.
