Short-term consultants

Chemonics International seeks short-term consultants with expertise in civil and electrical engineering, water, agriculture, finance, procurement and logistics, and operations management for the USAID-funded Afghanistan Stabilization Initiative project. The initiative will manage the implementation of stabilization activities in the southern regions of Afghanistan and is an initial step in bringing stability to violence-prone areas of the country through the administration of a grants under contract program. The durations of the positions are variable but will last no longer than six months, with potential for a possible extension.

 

Qualifications:
*Certification, qualification, and/or degrees to substantiate application for position
*Minimum 10 years of Afghanistan experience
*Ability to work in Kandahar or Lashkar Gah required
*Afghan nationality a plus
*Pashtu and English written and oral fluency required
