Short-term Consultants

SUMMARY:

Counterpart International is actively recruiting a range of highly trained technical consultants for short term assignments worldwide. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Short-term consultancies will be focused on: CSO capacity building; advocacy; civic education; new media innovations and technologies; monitoring and evaluation; and program design and learning.  Consultants' activities must be carefully coordinated with other relevant program activities to ensure cohesive program implementation. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS :

 

KNOWLEDGE

  • At least five years of overseas experience working in civil society strengthening programs;
  • Experience with monitoring and evaluations or conducting assessments;
  • Advanced degree in international development and/or relevant field;
  • Experience working on USAID projects.
  • Technical specialization in one of the topical areas above.

 

SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
  • Good computer skills - experience using Microsoft Word and Excel software;
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, communication and reporting skills.
  • Fluency in a second language.
