The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) seeks a short-term consultant to assist in developing strategic guidelines for Panama’s Inter-Institutional Commission for the Implementation of the Accusatorial System.
This consultancy will begin as soon as possible and require two to three one-week visits to Panama. The consultant will be responsible for holding interviews and organizing working sessions with members of the Commission to support the development of its strategic plan to transition to an adversarial system nationwide by 2014.
Job requirements include (1) direct practical experience in strategic planning, preferably with justice institutions in Latin America; (2) an advanced degree in law, science, management, or a related field; and (3) professional fluency in Spanish.
