Logistics Associate - Climate Change

Our services in gender integration; training and capacity building; and monitoring and evaluation have been applied in a variety of sectors across 51 countries for USAID, MCC, and State.

 

dTS is recruiting a mid-level Logistics Associate to support the USAID funded Global Climate Change project under dTS’ M&E Practice. The Logistics Associate will support personnel administration, financial management, knowledge management, and logistics on this project. Primary tasks follow. 

  • Personnel Recruitment: support recruitment for any needed short term positions on the project
  • Personnel Onboarding and Mobilization: support onboarding and conduct mobilization (including booking airline, hotel, visa) of staff for field assignments
  • Financial Management: Review and process project and expense reports
  • Research: support research activities
  • Report Production: support report production
  • Knowledge Management: Maintain project records and documents
  • Administrative and Logistics Support

 

Qualifications for the Position:

  • Bachelors with a minimum of two years of experience or a Masters in international development or related field with a minimum of one year of experience
  • Professional experience on USAID projects (required)
  • Experience tracking creating and budgets, and processing subcontractor and staff invoices (required)
  • Experience mobilizing personnel for overseas projects (required)
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Access, including knowledge of spreadsheets. (required)
  • Demonstrated competence to assess priorities, and concurrently manage a variety of activities effectively to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
  • Strong communicator, with strong verbal, writing and editing skills.
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Team oriented individual
