Reporting to the US-based Senior Manager for Corporate Communications, the Marketing and Communications Specialist is responsible for the Asia Pacific region’s internal and external marketing and communication efforts. This individual will contribute to the development and implementation of the company’s communications strategy, aimed at strengthening the group’s internal cohesiveness and building and strengthening GRM International, Futures Group, and the Effective Development Group’s external brands across our global markets. The Communications Specialist will work closely on internal and external communications with the Deputy Managing Director, Regional Director, and Asia and Pacific business unit.

To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated:

• Master’s degree plus 1-4 years of experience, or Bachelor’s degree plus 2-5 years of experience in Marketing, Communications, or other related field;
• Experience in international development including working with large bilateral or multilateral donors;
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects at once;
• Excellent attention to detail, results orientation;
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills;
• Sound problem solving and decision making ability;
• The willingness to travel, including to developing countries if required.
