Monitoring and Evaluation Advisor - Bangladesh

Program Summary:

The 5-year Agro-Inputs Project in Bangladesh is designed to stimulate agricultural development to increase production and productivity, reduce rural poverty and improve food security in the southern delta of Bangladesh. The project aims to establish an Agricultural Input Retailers’ Network (AIRN), which will play a major role in supplying high-quality inputs to farmers in the southern delta.

 

Position Summary:

  • Design M&E system including indicators, impact assessments and Performance Management Plan (PMP) according to USAID and CNFA standards;
  • Trains project staff on their responsibilities for monitoring and evaluation;
  • Oversees all daily work related to monitoring, evaluation and reporting activities of the project;
  • Produces, edits, and distribute regular project reports and updates to project management, regional management, and HQ;
  • Plans routine assessments to track, analyze and prepare project data and other useful statistics on agribusiness and agricultural development related to the project

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
  • Experience working with USAID and international donors required
  • Experience managing the finances for a project of similar size
  • Experience in monitoring and evaluation work in a development context
  • Fluent in English
