We have an immediate need for an M&E Specialist in our Virgin Islands corporate office.

 

About the Position

Fintrac is seeking a dynamic, motivated individual to work on the development and implementation of project-specific M&E systems.  Duties of the position  include creating project performance monitoring plans (PMPs), identify quantitative and qualitative indicators, work with field staff to develop data collection and evaluation tools, provide periodic on-site support to ascertain status of project achievements and assist with preparation of quarterly and annual reports that highlight project achievements and milestones.


About the Candidate

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation of USAID or other donor funded programs;
  • Bachelor’s degree in statistics, economics, financial analysis or social sciences; 
  • Experience with statistics and ability to analyze and interpret data and present findings in written and oral form;
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative data collection and analysis;
  • In-depth knowledge of MS Excel, Power Point, Word, database and statistical programs;
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills;
  • Spanish and/or French are pluses;
  • Master’s degree in statistics, financial analysis or social sciences with an emphasis on Impact Evaluation and Reporting (preferred).

 

Must be authorized to work in the United States and able to travel abroad.
