RTI is now recruiting for a Monitoring & Evaulation Specialist for a Crime and Violence Prevention Project (CVPP) in El Salvador. The objective of the project is to help increase safety for citizens of El Salvador. This will be accomplished through:
• Supporting the Government of El Salvador’s national level crime prevention efforts.
• Supporting the expansion of municipal-led crime and violence prevention efforts.
• Indentifying and seizing windows of opportunity in crime and violence prevention.
The M& E Specialist will be responsible for the following:
1. Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) Plan and all reporting systems of the program.
2. Expected to train program staff to ensure proper data is collected, ensure adequate performance indicators and output, outcome and impact data is collected in the targeted geographic and thematic areas.
3. Produce all required reports on program status impact, including success stories, press releases, etc.
4. The MES will be expected to liaise closely with USAID and Vanderbilt University regarding reporting specific CARSI-related reporting needs.
5. The ability to fully and effectively communicate, both orally and in writing, in Spanish and English – Foreign Service Institute (FSI) 4/4 level is required.
• Advanced university degree in related field
• Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
• Excellent written and spoken Spanish and English skills
