Monitoring & Evaluation Specialist

CARANA Corporation is recruiting for an upcoming USAID project that aims to facilitate more productive and inclusive value chains in the areas of construction, agriculture and apparel.  The aim of the project will be to contribute to broad-based economic growth, and to increase employment in Port-au-Prince, Cap Haïtien and Saint-Marc.

Duties: He/She will make operational decisions and manage the various components of the program dealing with M&E, will oversee data collection efforts and ensure both the Project Management Plan and results reporting meet the requirements of the project. He/She will be in continuous communication with the USAID/Haiti mission, and will demonstrate an ability to take critical inputs, feedback, and assessments from evaluation partners to inform changes in program approaches and scale-up. He/She shall ensure that these and other program components are results-oriented. This individual will have a major focus on achieving results to assure that all partners on schedule.

 

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education Requirements: The M&E Specialist will have a Masters Degree in business administration or related area of study or equivalent work experience. Specialized training in M&E is required.
  • Experience Requirements: Seven (7) years or more of progressively responsible work experience in managing complex project of similar size. At least 5 years of monitoring and evaluation work at the supervisory level
  • Fluent in English, French and Creole.
