Business Support Services Expert

CIFESAL INTERNATIONAL CONSULTING is the international division of the CIFESAL Group and specializes in the design, management and evaluation of economic development and institutional support projects worldwide.

We are currently preparing the following project in Serbia, financed by the European Commission: "Improved SME Competitiveness and Innovation".

The project objectives are to:

Improve the quality, range and availability of business support services in Serbia (for newly established and existing SMEs and entrepreneurs), by creating a standardised model and strengthening the business support infrastructure.

Establish and implement the Quality Standards for delivery of Business Support Services.

Support business environment that will foster development of innovative and competitive SMEs.

Strength the institutional capacity and support framework for increased level of innovation in enterprises

Improve enterprise competitiveness by increasing their innovation capacities

For this project, we are identifying a Business Support Services Expert with the following experience and qualifications:

MBA, University Degree in Economics, Social Sciences or similar

At least 10 years of experience with business support services, of which at least 3 years of experience have been gained in transition economies

At least 5 years of experience with SME training and consultancy organizations and/or business support and development organizations dealing with the development and standardisation of business support services

Significant experience in introducing Quality Assurance (QA) and accreditation related to the provision of business support services

Experience in design of range of SME support services for agencies at regional/local level in EU Member States or accession countries

Experience working with EuropeAid is a distinct advantage

Prior experience working in the region

Fluency in English

The foreseen starting date is April 2010 and the duration will be 30 months.
