MSH is seeking candidates for an upcoming technical assistance project that will emphasize an integrated approach to achieving quality service delivery in family planning, maternal health, neonatal and child health with a focus on Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, Jharkhand and the national level of India.  HIV/AIDS may be incorporated within the project as it integrates with maternal child health and family planning services.  Preference will be given to applicants with relevant experience in India.  All positions are subject to project award. 

The Family Planning (FP) advisor is responsible for the oversight, technical direction and implementation of health facility, community and household-level strategies and interventions at the health zone level to improve family planning and reproductive health service demand and coverage in the designated health zones. Program activities include a range of community based and health facility based interventions in the areas of family planning and sexual and reproductive health in an integrated primary health care context.  Position requires medical or nursing degree or special training in pediatrics, plus at least 10 years experience working in health systems with a focus on family planning and/or reproductive health.  Minimum of 5 years experience in family planning/reproductive health in a project management or leadership position, preferably for USAID-support health projects.
