Nutrition Specialist (HIV) - Zambia

CHF International is seeking a Nutrition Specialist for an anticipated Zambia Economic Resilience Program for Improved Food Security (ZERS) program which will implement innovative strategies and approaches to enable vulnerable and poor rural households as well as the very poor to improve food security through strengthened economic resilience.

The Nutrition Specialist will be responsible for formulating, designing, planning, implementing the nutrition components of the project to ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness; and will train both partners and staff as needed.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in Public Health, Nutrition or related area.
• 6+ years of relevant professional work experience.
• Demonstrated experience as a  consultant or in a relevant technical assistance role.
• Experience implementing USAID-funded programs preferred.
• Significant knowledge of health and nutritional best practices.
• Significant knowledge of food security, household resilience and economic development best practices, preferred.
• Experience integrating health and nutrition activities into food security initiatives.
• Experience working with HIV/AIDS affected populations preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Ability to develop effective working relationships with all stakeholders.
• Fluency in English required.
