Title: Partnership Framework Project (PFP) Project Management Support Services

Location: Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic

Anticipated Period of Performance: December 19, 2011 – December 18, 2012

The individual will manage projects and coordinate with and assist the Dominican Republic Ministry of Health (GoDR MoH) and its HIV/AIDS branches on coordinating cooperative agreement program activities, implementation, and evaluation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Project coordination and management services, both technical and operational, to support scientific assessments and program implementation
• Work conjunctively with USG, GoDR, MoH, and indigenous partner organizations.
• Provide support in applications development which supports HIV/AIDS program activities as defined in the Country Operation Plan.
• Assist in the planning and implementing the procurement of resources and training to ensure that participating partners are adequately equipped to meet its application development objectives.
• Develop and document CoAG management procedures and processes.
• Assist in establishing and documenting internal fiscal and procurement procedures.
• Compiles and edits management and staffing needs for annual COP.
  
  

Key Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience in the care and treatment of HIV/AIDS
• At least 2 years of experience with the federal grants and budget processes and the cycles
• Masters degree in public health, social sciences or public administration, with 2 years’ post graduate work in public health or public programs
• Willingness and ability to read, write, and speak both Spanish and English on a daily basis while interacting with various groups of people.
