Program Managers: USAID Food for Peace Project

Dexis is seeking mid-level and senior program managers to provide management services on an USAID Food for Peace institutional support contract. The duty post for the work will be Washington, DC. The positions are full time. The work is expected to begin Spring 2012 to start for a period of five years years. The candidate will report to Project Director on a general basis, and work closely with USAID food for peace program officers on a routine basis.

The objective of the project is to ensure maximum efficiencies in the procurement, disbursement, management and evaluation of food aid projects. To achieve this objective, the specialist will complete a range of tasks including:

* Providing program support in the planning and management of food aid programs
* Managing the grants distribution process to food aid PVO and NGO grant recipients
* Undertaking procurement and logistics tracking and budget analysis
* Providing training development, monitoring and evaluation of food aid programs
* Undertaking food aid grant management and evaluation

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

* Experience in USAID food aid or humanitarian assistance management systems or (preferred)
* Degree and/or training in program administration
* Fluent written and spoken English
* References commenting on outstanding organizational skills
* Citizen of United States
* Security Clearance (preferred)
