dTS is a strategic management consulting firm leading initiatives in social and economic development with a view to promoting equality and accountability. Our services in gender integration; training and capacity building; and monitoring and evaluation have been applied in a variety of sectors across 51 countries for USAID, MCC, and State.
dTS is recruiting a Project Manager to support the USAID funded Global Climate Change project under dTS’ M&E Practice. The Project Manager will provide home office project management support on this project to include contract administration, financial management, personnel mobilization and support, and administrative support. Primary tasks follow.
Support project start-up and briefing project into dTS systems
Create project specific project management guidelines and tools
Monitor progress of deliverables against work plan to ensure compliance with client and home office schedules, requirements, and standards
Manage costs against budget including developing and/or monitoring incurred costs, pipelines, and obligations
Conduct financial management to include review and processing of subcontractor and staff invoices, and dTS invoices for submission to client
Monitor contract compliance across project administration and operations
On-boarding all personnel on the team
Ensure mobilization of personnel for overseas assignment
Capture and knowledge management of intellectual capital
Qualifications for the Position:
Masters degree in International Development, International Relations or related field (required)
Minimum of seven years of professional experience in the international development
Minimum of five years of experience working on USAID project management (required)
Experience working with creating and tracking budgets, incurred costs and pipelines; and facilitating project financial management including processing subcontractor and staff invoices (required)
Background/interest in working with global climate changes and/or M&E
Demonstrated competence to assess priorities, and concurrently manage a variety of activities effectively to meet deadlines with attention to detail and quality
Strong communicator, with strong verbal, writing and editing skills.
Good problem solving skills
Team oriented individual
Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word and Access, including knowledge of spreadsheets.
