dTS is a strategic management consulting firm leading initiatives in social and economic development with a view to promoting equality and accountability. Our services in gender integration; training and capacity building; and monitoring and evaluation have been applied in a variety of sectors across 51 countries for USAID, MCC, and the Department of State.

dTS is recruiting a full time Recruiter to support the Kenya PACE project activities. We are searching for a highly motivated and skilled individual with full life cycle recruitment experience, preferably within international development. The ideal candidate will be able to recruit individuals for positions identified on numerous work orders issued by the USAID Kenya Mission, covering a wide variety of subject matters. Candidates must be able to manage complex recruitment assignments that require creativity to overcome specific recruitment challenges. This position is based in our home office in Arlington, VA. Primary tasks follow:

  • Source appropriate candidates through internal and external networks and databases.
  • Follow dTS recruitment policies and procedures to screen and select candidates, ensuring compliance with all government and client employment specifications.
  • Write Key Qualifications and formatting cv’s for formal submissions.
  • Negotiate salaries
  • Manage and catalog correspondence with recruited candidates.
  • Manage pipeline of upcoming recruitment needs to ensure timely delivery of candidates.

Qualifications for the Position:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of four years of relevant work experience (international experience a plus).
  • Experience working on USAID or other donor-funded projects (desired).
  • Demonstrated recruitment experience required. Project management or business development experience highly desireable.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally with internal clients and external candidates, both verbally and in writing.
  • Excellent interpersonal and time management skills, and ability to work effectively with diverse teams and handle many tasks simultaneously, often with inflexible deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate with inter-office and cross-cultural teams.
  • Experienced with Microsoft Office Suite.
