Job Description
 

  • Works with key Admissions program officers to retrieve and analyze all-source intelligence up through and including at the Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) level. 
  • Reviews a wide range of reports from various intelligence agency partners, including but not limited to the National Security Agency (NSA), the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Enterprise Inquiries Group (EIG), the National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), the Terrorist Screening Center (TSC) and the Department of State (DOS). 
  • Analyzes the intelligence documents and compares to information contained in PRM’s electronic refugee case file to determine whether the refugee applicant is the same person mentioned in the documents, and if so, if it constitutes an inadmissibility.

 
Qualifications
 
The ideal candidate would have the following qualifications:
 
 Current security clearance at the Top Secret level and ability to obtain security clearance at the SCI level.
 
 A minimum of three (3) years of related professional work experience is required for this position.
 
 Excellent critical and analytical skills.
 
 Ability to interface with the intelligence support field, including the Enterprise Inquiries Group (EIG) National Counterterrorism Center (NCTC), TSC, FBI and DHS. 
 
 Background knowledge in consular affairs.
 
 Working familiarity with TIER 1 Terrorist Groups as designated by DOS.
 
 Working familiarity with country conditions for refugee nationalities, in particular Afghans, Burmese, Cubans, Eritreans, Iraqis, Pakistanis, and Somalis.
 
 Ability to work with database applications.
 
 Ability to work independently and often alone, while also liaising with CA-Watch and BRPM/A colleagues.
 
 Familiarity with use/access of Terrorist Identities Datamart Environment
 
 Demonstrated skills or knowledge of global internet access and research capabilities.
 
 Facility with standard software, including the complete Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint), and an ability to learn and work with other software, as well as database applications.
 
 A Bachelor’s Degree is required for this position; however, a Master’s Degree or other advanced degree is preferred.
