Graduate Intern / Associate

The Kaizen Company is an innovative development assistance firm that primarily works as a subcontractor to larger firms on USAID contracts internationally. We are headquartered in Washington, DC, and online at: We currently seek a DC-based MBA, Foreign Affairs, Development Studies, or Management graduate student interested in entering the field of development. The internship comes with a modest stipend and is for a minimum of 15-20 hours per week. This internship is available for Spring 2010, with the possibility of extension. Responsibilities * Analyze available on-line reform support resources provided by The Kaizen Company’s existing partner organizations; establish and implement systems for assessing these resources and making them available on Kaizen’s online Professional Communities. * Work with Kaizen staff to identify, track, and negotiate prospective partnerships with diverse international organizations. * Carry out diverse USAID project management tasks on an as-needed basis.
