SME Finance / Risk Management Consultants (MENA)

Business & Finance Consulting (BFC) (www.bfconsulting.com), a proactive and dynamic team with an excellent international profile invites applications for the SME Finance / Risk Management Consultants.

Duration: long term / short term

Duty station: MENA region

Job responsibilities: 

• Lead the development and streamlining of effective SME lending procedures
• Assist in credit structuring and product development
• Provide advisory and  training services in innovative SME lending technology and procedures, loans monitoring, credit, and financial analysis
• Train staff and middle management with specific focus on SME /rural finance
• Perform credit portfolio and risk analysis, and recommend corrective actions
• Create effective risk monitoring and credit administration practices
• Introduce loan monitoring and reporting practices
• Ensure successful delivery of the project

Requirements: 

• University degree in Economic Sciences, Finance, Banking or related fields
• At least 5-7 years of relevant international and/or MENA regional experience in implementing innovative SME lending operations and Risk Management
• Rural, Housing Finance, Deposit Mobilisation and Microfinance experience would be an asset
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in international development finance projects
• Experience in training lending staff and middle management
• Strong analytical and communication skills (spoken and written)
• Fluency in English, knowledge of Arabic and French is a considerable advantage.
