Specialist, Information Management, Pakistan

Save the Children US, the leading independent organization creating real and lasting change for children in need in the U.S. and around the world seeks an Information Management Specialist to be responsible for finalizing program proposals and ensuring their quality. S/he will also be responsible for meeting the information needs of the Pakistan Flood Response, including collection, analysis, approval and dissemination of critical information products to Save the Children emergency team members, Alliance partners, donors and other stakeholders. S/he will also represent Save the Children at interagency meetings when required, and ensure that incoming international staff are briefed, and visitor and donor trips are well organized.

Requires 3 – 5 years directly related experience, particularly in writing communications outputs:  situation reports, fact sheets, proposals and briefings.  Experience in managing large amounts of information, and able to triangulate information quickly.  Bachelor’s degree required.  Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal); Strong interpersonal and teambuilding skills; Highly organized and detail oriented, particularly in terms of outputs (proposals and sitreps); Able to live and work in a challenging environment, and willingness to travel to all flood-affected areas (in line with security recommendations).
