There is a potential opportunity with SKM for a climate change mitigation/adaptation project in Indonesia in the Citarum Basin of Java region. SKM is currently seeking candidates for the position of Team Leader/Climate Change Specialist. 

Qualifications

The specialist will have at least 15 years experience in climate change related work with a relevant master’s degree or higher in environmental management, climate change, or a related area. The specialist will have considerable experience as team leader and relevant background that includes extensive experience in assisting government institutions. The specialist should have past working experience in Indonesia or other Southeast Asian countries on climate change and/or environmental management and be familiar with the institutional arrangements in these countries. Also required are abilities to work effectively with government representatives both a the national and provincial levels, development partners and other stakeholders in building sustainable capacity to address climate change, and to report effectively in strategic consultations and in written reports.
