Team Leader- Wholesale and Retail

We are currently putting together a team for another major DFID-funded project working in Nigeria. This special project will primarily be focused on the wholesale and retail sector in Nigeria. It will apply a ‘market development’ approach to enhancing income opportunities for poor people and better integrating them into markets. It will have a particular focus on improving opportunities for women.

Key project outcomes would be that:

Underlying constraints within key market systems are addressed successfully, particularly those relevant for poor people, especially poor women;

Key stakeholders pursue effective and systemic approaches to economic development.

The Role

It takes a special person to dedicate their career to improving the opportunities for the poor. We are looking to recruit a definitive Team Leader with market development experience and a solid understanding of M4P. You will also have:

over 10 years’ experience in the wholesale and retail industry, preferably food and beverage sector;
strong networking and relationship management skills as well as project management expertise;
