Waging peace in Sudan – and what it means for development

Peace-building efforts in Sudan must be managed much better by Sudanese and international leaders to avoid the country’s fragmentation following its referendum on the south’s independence, says U.N. Assistant Secretary General Hilde Frafjord Johnson in an exclusive guest editorial for Devex. Johnson served as Norway’s development minister in the late 1990s and early 2000s.
