Grameen Uses Positive Approach to Collect Loans

Traditional banks often use punitive means to ensure loan repayment. Grameen Bank takes a different approach, Muhammad Yunus said at the World Affairs Council of Washington, D.C., on Feb. 4. If borrowers fail to pay on time, loans are rescheduled so they would have another chance to repay Grameen, its founder said.
