Individual consulting: Where the jobs are

As two of the world’s biggest donors, the U.S. Agency for International Development and U.K. Department for International Development have been significant sources of consulting work. These organizations’ priorities, not only with regard sectors but also expertise, indicate some of the areas of greatest need for consultants over the coming months and years.

 

That’s according to Daniel Head, senior international recruiter, economic growth, at DAI, and Katie Levy, recruitment manager for DAI Europe, in this excerpt from our one-hour webinar “How to Succeed as an International Development Consultant.” Head also advises learning “keywords of the year” to know the types of expertise that will be in high demand in the future.
